Communiekaart/ 1st holy Communioncard

Deze kaart is afgelopen zondag afgeleverd aan het communikantje waar we voor het feestje waren uitgenodigd :)
Het was een super gezellige dag en wat hadden we toch geluk met het weer. Misschien wel iets te warm, maar ik teken daarvoor als Lisa volgend jaar de communie doet :)

This card I've delivered last Sunday to Nikki our former neighbergirl who did her first Holy Communion that day. We're invited to her party :)
It was a very nice day and boy we were lucky to had such beautiful weather. Perhaps a little bit to warm, but if I have the same weather at Lisa's communion next year I'll be happy :)

Geslaagd/Graduation

Bij ons op het werk hebben we een thema wand. Hierop worden de desbetreffende producten gehangen die bij dat thema horen, zodat de klant niet de hele winkel hoeft door te struinen om het te vinden. Vanaf gisteren was dat "GESLAAGD" De examens zijn weer in volle gang en er zullen - hopelijk - weer vele geslaagd kaartjes door de postbodes bezorgd worden.

At the job we're having a moodboard for special occasions. We will hang all the products that are connected with that occasion, so our custumor has everything he/she needs in one space. Since yesterday we had the "GRADUATION" board. The exams are on now and - hopefully - a lot of Graduations cards will be delivered by the mailman.

Uiteraard werd ons dan ook gevraagd om wat voorbeelden te maken die aan de takken gehangen kunnen worden.
Dit zijn ze van mij.....

Ofcourse we had to make some examples of those cards to expose..

Een "simpel" kaartje. Een rode basiskaart waarop een wit en blauwe reep geplakt is om zo de nederlandse vlag te creëren.
A simple card. The basis is a red card 15x15 cm. With a white and blue stroke on it to create the Netherland flag

Eigenlijk wilde ik met dit kaartje een "gezakt" kaartje maken, vandaar ook de sombere kleuren. Maar toen ik het idee met Peter (mijn hubby) deelde werd het meteen de grond in geboord :)En ik luister altijd naar mijn mannie (ahum) en daarom is het toch een geslaagd kaartje geworden :)
I wanted to make a "failed" card with this one, that's why the colours are so blue. But when I chared the idea with Peter (my hubby) it was thrown in the paperwast basket inmediately :) I always listen to my hubby (allright) and that's why it became a "Graduation" card afterall :)


Dit is de binnenkant. Op diverse blogs kom ik de meest mooie kaarten tegen en de meesten versieren ook de binnenkant. Nou doe ik dit normaal gesproken nooit, maar je bent nooit te oud om te leren :)
This is the inside of the card. I move around loads of blogs with the most beautiful cards you can imagine. Most of them are decorated in the inside too. I've never done that but one's never to old to learn :)

Een vrolijk gekleurd kaartje voor een vriendje van Lisa. Ze spelen niet echt meer samen omdat er toch een jaar leeftijdsverschil is en ze niet meer bij elkaar in de klas zitten, maar een kaartje als je jarig bent is altijd leuk toch?

A colourfull birthdaycard for a friend of Lisa. They don't play with eachother anymore due to the year agedifference and they don't sit in the same classes anymore but a card when you're having your birthday is always nice, isn't it?

Een communie kaarten/ First Holy Communion card

Niet echt een ouderwetse communiekaart maar ik vind deze moderne versie ook leuk.
Ik heb de randen van al het papier en ook van de stempelafdruk bewerkt met Distress inkt.

Not a typical communion card but I like the modern ones just as well.
I've inked all papers with Distress ink from Ranger

trouwkaart/weddingcard

Vandaag trouwt een koppel bij ons uit de straat. Wij lopen bijna iedere morgen samen met hen naar school. Een van hun zoontjes zit bij Lisa in de klas.
Uiteraard heb ik even een kaartje in gegooid.
Met dank aan mijn allerliefste nichtje Anja voor het stempelen van dit allerliefste bruidspaar :)

Today a couple from down our street are getting married. We walk together to school almost everyday. One of their sons is Lisa's classmate.
Ofcourse I made a card for them.

Waterval Layout/Waterfall Layout

Dit was mijn inzending voor de pop-up wedstrijd bij Pimp-a-Pumpkin.
Gewonnen heb ik niet, had ik ook niet verwacht ook :) Er waren andere die veel ingewikkeldere pop-ups hadden bedacht dan mijn eenvoudige waterval maar ik wilde hem toch even aan jullie laten zien want ik vond het wel heel erg leuk om te maken :)

this was my contribution of the pop-up contest at Pimp-a-Pumpkin.
Didn't win, didn't even expeted to do so :) there were others who were much more impressive than my simple waterfall Layout but I wanted to show it to you anyway as I found it turned out just okay :)
