Op verzoek van Marianne - indien tijd en zin ;D - werd het Design Team gevraagd om een voorbeeld Layout te maken met Gesso
Every week at Pimp-a-Pumpkin there's one product that goes into the Spotlights. This week it is the medium Gesso. A very diverse product, you can use it for many opportunities.
On Marianne's request - if we had time and if we wanted - the Design Team was asked to make an example with Gesso
Dit is mijn voorbeeld/ this is my example
Ik heb een stuk krant (alleen tekst) dun ingesmeerd met Gesso. Deze op het cardstock gelegd en goed aangedrukt. Langzaam het krantenpapier verwijderen en dan blijft als het goed is een afdruk zichtbaar van de tekst.
Met een wc-rolletje rondjes gestempeld en mijn favo weer eens uit de kast gehaald: bubbeltjes plastic ;D
De rand is bewerkt met de distresstool van Tim, een aantal scheuren zijn vastgeniet en verder heb ik nog met de hotfix diverse halve rondjes op de Layout gecreërd.
Bloemen zijn uitgesneden met de cricut uit krantenpapier.
I took a piece of newspaper (only words) and put a thin layer of Gesso on it. Then you put it on your cardstock. Press tight. Then slowely remove the newspaper. If you do it right pieces of the paper will stuck on your cardstock or be transfered on your cardstock. With an empty toilet roll I stamped circles on the Layout and the black rounds are made with packing plastic my favorite :D
All four sides have met the distress tool of Tim Holtz, some gapes are pinned down with staples. Further I put some half rounds with the Hotfix tool.
The flowers are cut with the Cricut
De inspiratie voor deze layout is gehaald uit een artikel uit Scrapbook magazine van Peter van Tilburg (hé, familie misschien?? Mijn meisjesnaam is ook van Tilburg :) haha)
The inpiration for this layout I had from an article out of the Scrapbook magazine. It was from Peter van Tilburg (hey, family perhaps??? My maiden name is also van Tilburg :) hahah)
