Dit leuk mini-albumpje heb ik gemaakt voor een verjaardagsrak. het voorbeeld is uiteraard weer van een album van Laura Denisson. Wat verzint ze toch altijd weer leuke dingen.
Papier komt uit een blokje van Colours unlimited, enveloppen ook.
De voorkant van dit mini-album is van ribbelkarton gemaakt.

Het is nog niet helemaal versierd, dat mocht de birthdaygirl zelf afmaken ;-)

Dit is een klein paperbag-album. Mijn vriendin Janine was zo lief om wat van die paperbags mee te nemen van haar reisje door Amerika vorig jaar en ik had nog geen gelegenheid gehad om ze te gebruiken

Special Delivery Mini-album

Dit is het special Delivery Album wat ik gemaakt heb voor de (zwanger) juffrouw van Lisa. Het patroon voor dit album heb ik gekocht bij Laura Denisson van Following the Paper trail. Geweldig wat die allemaal maakt. Je kunt haar tegenwoordig ook bekijken op Ustream waar ze een kanaal heeft. Alle filmpjes doet ze ook opnemen zodat wij ze ook op een christelijk tijdstip kunnen bekijken :-)

Papier dat ik gebruikt heb is van Basic Grey Oliver. Op de kaft heb ik zelfs ook een vel van Olivia gebruikt. De kleine quotes heb ik van internet afgehaald.
Ik geloof dat de juf hier wel blij mee was........

This is the special Delivery mini that I've made for Lisa's (pregnant) teachter. The pattern I've bought from Laura Dennisson at Following the Paper trail. She makes amazing stuff. You can also watch her at Ustream where she has a channel. You can watch live or the recorded version so we European people can watch it at a more appropriate time ;-)

The paper I've used is from Basic Grey Oliver, on the cover I also used a sheet of Oliva. The quotes I've found on the internet.
I believe Lisa's teacher was happy with it.......

enveloppen minialbum

Deze mini heb ik gemaakt van lange enveloppen. Het voorbeeld heb ik gezien op de blog van Following the Paper trail van Laura. Zij maakt de meest fantastische mini's en zij is voor mij een grote inspiratiebron ;)
Ga maar eens kijken op haar Youtube filmpjes en tegenwoordig geeft ze ook live via Ustream workshops. Helaas voor ons hier aan de andere kant van de grote plas door de tijdszone midden in de nacht, maar ze neemt ze gelukkig op, dus je kunt het naderhand nog eens op je gemakje bekijken.

De foto's zijn van onze Witte Herder Koda. Ik heb zoveel foto's van die mafkees dat ik besloot om er een mini van te maken, van pup tot zoals hij nu is.

This mini I've made out of long envelops. The example I've from the blog of Laura at Following the Paper trail. She makes such gorgeous mini's. She's a real inspiration for me on that part ;).
Go check out her Youtube video's and she even gives liveclasses at Ustream. Unfortunately for us on the other side of the big pound it's due to timezones in the middle of the night, but luckily she records them so we can watch it whenever we want.

The pictures are from Koda our white Swiss Sheppard. I've so many pictures of that silly dog that I decided to make a mini out of them. From Puppy 'till now.

Dit is een mini-albumpje dat ik gemaakt heb van WC-rolletjes!!
Diverse keren kwam ik het tegen op Youtube en ik vond het een super idee. Op deze manier maak je van goedkoop materiaal leuke dingen en je bespaart nog eens vuilnis ook ;-)

This is a mini that I've made out of Toilet rolls!!!
I came across this on various Youtube clips and I found it a fantastic idea. You can make something beautiful out of in expensive material and you save on your landfill too ;-)

Ik heb voor dit album 6 WC-rolletjes gebruikt. Deze zijn dubbel gevouwen en geverfd. Het papier is iets kleiner uitgesneden dan het WC rolletje groot is.
Ik heb het gebonden met de BIA, maar je kunt ook bindringen of lint gebruiken, wat je zelf het leukste vindt natuurlijk
De opening was te klein om een stans erdoor te krijgen, dus ik heb een malletje gemaakt om aan een kant van het rolletje een "grijp" opening te creëren zodat de labels er makkelijker uitkunnen.
Voor de labels heb ik de cricut gebruikt (gesneden op 3.5") Sommige labels heb ik voorzien van de klipjes van broodzakken. Deze heb ik bewerkt met alcohol inkt.
Voor dit album heb ik een chipboard voorkant/achterkant gemaakt waar het eerste en laatste rolletje is opgeplakt.

I've used 6 Toiletrolls for this mini. They are folded and painted before I put on the papers. The papers are cut about 3 mm less than the toiletrolls width.
I've binded it with a BIA, but you can also use bindingrings or ribbon.
The opening of the toiletrol wasn't wide enough to put a punch in so I made a diecut and cut it out to create a pulling area for the tags.
For the tags I've used the Cricut (cut at 3.5"). Some of the tags I've used the closings of the breadbags, I've coloured them with alcohol inks.
On this mini I've put a chipboard cover too I've adhered the first and the last toilet roll on it.

Op de blog van Laura van Following the Paper Trail worden de mooiste en de leukste mini-albumpjes en andere projecten gemaakt. Zij maakt ook nog overal een videotutorial (youtube) van zodat je het ook nog eens kunt bekijken. Neem vooral een kijkje op haar blog! Haar blog staat ook bij mijn favo's vermeld.

Dit albumpje komt ook van haar blog. Ik vond het zo leuk dat ik besloot om het zelf ook te maken. Toen ik bezig was kwamen Sanne en Lisa ook naar beneden, Sanne had een vriendinnetje te logeren en vroegen of ze ook zo'n boekje mochten maken. Dus uiteindelijk ben ik meer bezig geweest met hun boekjes dat met het mijne ;D

This mini also comes from her blog. I found it such a great idea that I decided to make it myself. When I was busy making it, Sanne and Lisa came down, Sanne had a friend staying over and they asked to make one themselves. So eventually I was more busy with making theirs then my own ;D

Uiteraard heb ik die van mij ook nog af gekregen hoor ;) Wat je al niet kunt doen als kinders weer naar school zijn en manlief werken !

Ik vond het een heel leuk boekje om te maken, en je kunt er zo veel meer mee. Denk eens aan een koffer (fotocamera, etc) of een rugzak voor de foto's van je zoon/dochter's eerste schooldag?? Have Fun ;D
I found it a very cute mini to make, you can do so much more with it. Think about a suitcase (camera etc) or a backpack to put in pictures of your son/daughter's first day at school?? Have Fun :D

Barcelona mini

Vorig jaar September ben ik met mijn vriendin Janine een lang weekend naar Barcelona geweest. We hebben ontzettend veel lol gehad, veel gelopen, en veel gezien.
Van dit weekend heb ik een interactief mini-album gemaakt. Diverse technieken erin verwerkt zoals het maken van pagina's uit plastic zakken (dank je wel voor het leuke filmpje on Youtube Laura van Following the Paper Trail), watervallen, mini-boekje in mini-boekje, etc. etc.
Ik heb ontzettend veel lol gehad met het maken hiervan. Duurde wel even voordat het klaar was, maar dat had ik er wel voor over!

Last year September I went away on a long weekend trip to Barcelona with my friend Janine. We had so much fun, walked miles and saw loads.
From this weekend I've made this interactive mini. I've used several techniques in it like making pages out of plastic bags (thanks to a Youtube video from Laura at Following the Paper Trail), made waterfalls, a mini in a mini and much more.
I had loads of fun making this album. It took me a while but it was worth while!
