The challenge of it, is that you're making a LO with supplies you didn't pick out yourself.
As of this challenge, the November box, we had to use the paper in the kit, use felt on your LO, the titel "FAMILIE" had to appear on your LO (you were allowed to expend the titel with other words) and you had to use the heart stamp.
I had some difficulties with this challenge, as purpel isn't my colour at all, for the kids it is, but not for me :)
The pictures I took, both Sanne and Lisa had red sweaters on, so that didn't matched at all with the papers in the kit, that's why I decided to turn the pictures into sepia.
The felt I've used to create the little camera. I painted the felt as it was white. The stamp gone bad....:( I stamped it directely onto the paper, but it didn't quite look wel. So I stamped it on the green cardstock again and put it over the stamped image on the LO, at an angle to create a little bit of a shadow.
We had much fun making the picture. We don't have lots of pictures where we stand on all four of us, I normally stand behind the camera's and my kids are way more photogenique then I'll ever be :)
So we lied on the coach all four of us, keeping the camera above us and there were ofcourse a lot of "wrong" pictures. I used them to create the filmstrip.
Unfortunately I didn't win. I had a shared 4th place :)
Marianne van Pimp-a-Pumpkin heeft diverse wedstrijden op haar forum staan. Je kunt bijv. iedere maand een box kopen, waarin materiaal zit dat voor je is samen gesteld. Iedereen die de box koopt krijgt het zelfde materiaal geleverd. Met de bijgevoegde opdracht is het aan jou om hier een LO van in elkaar te flansen.
Voor deze box moest je alleen het geleverde papier gebruiken, je moest vilt op je LO verwerken, de bijgeleverde hart stempel moest op je LO terugkomen en de bijgeleverde titel moest verwerkt worden. Deze mocht wel aangevuld worden.
Ik had wel wat opstart problemen met deze opdracht, sluitings datum was 15 december en ik heb hem geloof ik de 13e pas gemaakt. Paars is gewoon mijn kleur niet. Van de kids wel, maar van mij helemaal niet.
Met het maken van de foto's hadden zowel Sanne als Lisa beide een rode trui aan. Hoezo dat vloekt met paars :) Vandaar ook de foto's in sepia afgedrukt. Het vilt heb ik gebruikt om het cameratje te stanzen. Ik heb het daarna geverfd aangezien het vilt wit was. Het stempelen ging mis :( Ik had het direct op de LO gestempeld en dat viel heel erg tegen. Ik heb de stempel nogmaals op het groene cardstock gestempeld en uitgeknipt en zodanig over het reeds gestempelde hart geplakt zodat het lijkt alsof er een schaduw onder het hart zit.
We hebben wel lol gehad met het maken van de foto's. Het komt niet vaak voor dat we met z'n allen op een foto staan. Ik sta liever achter de camera, en mijn kinderen zijn zowieso veel fotogenieker dan ik ooit zal worden :)
We hebben met z'n viertjes op de bank gelegen, fotocamera boven ons en maar knippen. Veel "foute" foto's - je ziet uiteraard niet of alles wel erop staat :) - en deze heb ik dan ook gebruikt als fotostrip op de LO.
Helaas niet gewonnen, maar toch een gedeelde vierde plaats
