Home Deco

Zoals beloofd, alleen iets later dan gepland ;) het gehele Home Deco stuk wat ik gemaakt heb voor het Design Team van Pimp-a-Pumpkin.

As promised, only what later as planned ;) the total Home Deco piece that I've made for the Design Team of Pimp-a-Pumpkin.

zoals jullie kunnen zien heb ik het in de vorm van een vogelhuisje gemaakt. De foto is ook van ons pimpelmeesje dat net op het moment dat hij uit het huisje vliegt door mijn camera wordt vastgelegd.

As you can see the piece is a birdhouse as the picture shows one of our gardenvisitors just flying out of one cought by my camera.

Ik heb van grijsboard een huisje gesneden met twee losse stukjes voor het dak
Deze zijn met een droge kwast voorzien van een laagje goudbruine acrylverf. Na het drogen is dit lichtelijk opgeschuurd met het schuurmaatje
Het achtergrond papier is van het dubbelzijdige Twinnia papier van Little Yellow Bycicle
Groene vilten "tak" is van Prima: Voila Rardenridge
De swirl is uit een oude wedstrijdbox. Deze is voorzien van een laag bruine verf, bewerkt met crackle medium en daarna is er een groene laag verf overheen gegaan waardoor de onderlaag door de bovenlaag heen te zien is door de crackles
De vogeltjes zijn gesneden met de cricut uit de cart Animal Kingdom
Bloemetjes zijn van Marianne Design.
Verder heb ik nog lint gebruikt (eigen voorraad) en hotfix steentjes op de foto

I've made from board the birdhouse, with two separate pieces to create the roof. These are painted with a dry foambrush in a layer of goldisch brown acrylic paint. After it dried it was polished lightely.
The background paper is from the doublesided Twinnia series of Little Yellow Bicycle.
The green felt is of Prima: Voila Rardenridge
The swirl I took from an old Match box from Pimp-a-Pumpkin. I put a brown paint on it, let it dry and put a layer of crackle medium on it. I finished it off with some green paint that when it comes in touch with the crackle the paint will "break" so you can see the paint that is underneath it.
The birdies are cut with the Cricut (Animal Kingdom)
Flowers are from Marianne Design, ribbon is from work and I used hotfix stones to put the circle around our birdie

WOW!!!!

WOW, wat ben ik toch een bofkont met zo'n leuke penvriendin. Ze zou alleen een cadeautje afsturen voor Anja's verjaardag en dan krijg ik zo'n gigantisch pakket toegestuurd. Nou had ik ook nog geluk dat Anja het cadeautje al had en dat ik het mocht houden. Een martha Steward pons. Dank je An!!

WOW what am I a lucky one to have such a cool penpal. She would only send me a package with a birthdaygift for my niece Anja and then the mailman stops and gives me such a hugh envelop. I was also lucky that Anja allready had the gift Ann send her so she told me that I could keep it. A martha Steward punch. Thanks Anja!!

Hier alvast een sneak peak van mijn Design Team opdracht voor de maand mei :)
We moesten een home-deco stuk maken. Ik laat jullie nog even in spanning HAHAHA.
Morgen zal ik het gehele ontwerp tonen.

A little sneak peak off my Design Team project of this month. We were asked to make a home-deco piece. You will have to keep that curiousity to yourself for just one more day, tomorrow I'll show the whole picture :)

Mijn nichtje Anja is vandaag jarig......nog een kleine 40 minuten :) HAHA.
Dit is het kaartje dat ik voor haar maakte.
Ik heb Tilda met de tulp (speciaal voor de deelnemers van het Magnolia event gemaakt) aangekleed met Design Papier.

60 jaar getrouwd/60st Wedding Anniversery

Zondag a.s. zijn een oom en tante van mij (zus van m'n moeder) 60 jaar getrouwd.
Dit verdient een bloemetje niet? Maar dan wel eentje in kaartvorm :)

Upcoming sunday an aunt and uncle of mine (sister of my mother) are celebrating their 60st Wedding Anniversery.
That's deserves a big bouquet of flowers.... in a card it is :)

Ik ben altijd op zoek naar iets leuks op internet. Veel blogs staan bij mijn favo's waaronder ook deze van Joanne. Zij maakt de mooiste kaarten met zelfgemaakte bloemen erop.
Ik heb niet alle gereedschappen die zij ervoor gebruikt, maar met een beetje inventiviteit komen we er wel :)

I'm always on the look out for nice beautiful things on the internet. A lot of craftblogs are at my favo's among others also this one from Joanne. She makes the most beautiful cards with paperflowers on it.
Ofcourse I don't have the tools she uses, but be a little inventive and you will come a long way :)

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor de juf van Sanne. Zij is afgelopen maandag 60 jaar geworden, maar ze vierde het vandaag met de kids.

This card I've made for Sanne's schoolteachter. She turned 60 last monday but she is celebrate it today with the class.
