Karen's Doodles Challenge week 16

Eigenlijk is het veel te warm op mijn hobbykamertje. En echt veel puf heb ik momenteel ook niet zo met dit warme weer. Niet dat ik klaag hoor, vind dit weer heerlijk maar je wordt er zo sloom van. Veel tijd had ik deze week ook niet, Lisa terug naar het ziekenhuis voor haar arm (gelukkig valt het mee zie foto's en verhaal op mijn dagelijkse blog, veel werken en schoonpapa ook nog eens in het ziekenhuis. Vandaag had ik lekker vrij en ik ben vanmorgen dan ook mijn nog enigzins koele scrapplekkie op gedoken om dit kaartje te maken voor alweer de 16e challenge van het Nederlandse Challenge Blog van Karen's Doodles.Deze week is de opdracht patchwork.
Op het eerste magnolia event hebben een patchwork kaartje gemaakt en deze heb ik gelift voor onderstaand kaartje.
Papier is van Basic Grey, digi uiteraard van Karen's Doodels (flower girl).

Actually it is way to hot upstairs in my scraproom. And with this warm weather you don't always are in the mood to do scrappy things. Don't get me wrong I love this weather, but it makes you so lazy. I didn't had much time either this week, had to go back to the hospital with Lisa (broken arm, fortunately it wasn't that bad after all, see my dailyblog for pictures)had to work extra days and my father in law was admitted in hospital also. Today it is my day off and I climbed up to my - at the moment - cool scraproom to make this card, allready fot the 16th challenge of the Dutch Challengeblog of Karen's Doodles.
This week the assignment was Patchwork.
At the first magnolia event that I attended we've made a patchwork card and I lifted it to make this card.
Paper is Basic Grey and ofcourse the digi is from Karen's (flower girl)

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor mijn neef die vrijdag a.s. in het huwelijksbootje gaat stappen ;-)
De stempelafdruk is van Penny Black. De embelies heb ik uit een doosje gehaald die ik ooit bij de Wibra of Zeeman heb gekocht. De randen zijn geponst met de Doily lace pons van Martha Steward. Je ziet het helaas niet goed op de foto, maar de egeltjes zijn licht gekleurd. ;)

The stamped image is from Penny Black, the embelishments are from a box I've bought quit a while ago at some local stores. The paperedges are punched with the Doily Lace from Martha steward. You don't see it that well on the pic, but the critters are lightly coloured ;)

Karen's Doodles Challenge week 15

Alweer de 15e challenge, boy o boy wat gaat de tijd snel. Het is een enerverend weekje geweest onze jongste dochter heeft namelijk tijdens een val haar arm gebroken, heel veel gewerkt deze week en ik MOEST vandaag gewoon even afschakelen om het kaartje te maken ;-) voor de Karen's Doodles Nederlandse Challenge Blog
Het is een erg roze kaartje geworden deze keer. We mochten ons laten inspireren door de zomer en ik vond deze digi (Butterfly Puppy) van Karen hiervoor wel geschikt.
De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van Marléne van A lil'bit of me.
De bloem is zelgemaakt door verschillende bloemen op elkaar te plakken en deze te bewerken. De doily heb ik eerst bespoten met Glimmer Mist (Dazzling diamonds en tattered rose), weet niet of dit goed zichtbaar is op de foto. De randen van het papier zijn aangezet met Antique linnen.
Bling is van Prima. het papier komt van een Vintage blok die ik bij de Action heb buitgemaakt.

Again the 15th challenge over at the Dutch Challenge Blog of Karen's Doodles. It's been a heavy week, our youngest broke her arm, I had to work almost all days (I normally work only 2 days) and so I HAD to take time for myself to make this card for the challenge.
It's became a very pink one this time. We had to get our inspiration from the Summer and I thought that this digi (Butterfly Puppy) from Karen was quit suitable for this.
The sketch I've used is from Marléne from Lil'bit of me. The flower I made myself by putting several flowers together and crunch them a little. The doily I've sprayed with Glimmer Mist (tattered rose and Dazzling diamonds), I don't know if you can see this proper on the picture. I've distress the paper by putting some Antique Linnen on it. Bling is Prima.
The is from some Vintage paperblocks I've bought at a local dollar store.

Karen's Doodles Challenge week 14

Wat gaat de tijd snel. Dit is alweer mijn laatste kaartje in de hoedanigheid van Gast Designer bij het Nederlandse Challenge blog van Karen's Doodles. Meiden, via deze weg.....hartelijk dank voor deze gelegenheid :-) Vond het heel leuk om te doen.

Deze week is de opdracht "verborgen teksten"
Dit is het kaartje dat ik gemaakt heb. Op de tags staat momenteel nog niets, maar daar kun je je boodschap op schrijven cq stempelen. Nog geen idee wie dit kaartje gaat krijgen en voor welke gelegenheid vandaar dat ik de labels nog even blanco gelaten heb.

Time flies so quickly. It is the last card I've made in my Guest Designership of the Dutch Challenge Blog of karen's Doodles. Girls, I just want to say......thanks for giving me this opportunity. ;-) I really liked doing it.

This week the challenge is "hidden messages".
This is the card I've made. The tags are hidden behind the paper. They are blanc at the moment as I don't know for which occasion this card will be. But you can stamp or write your message on the tags.

een Layout/a Layout

Ik ben weer een beetje mijn mojo terug aan het krijgen wat het maken van layouts betreft. Ben momenteel heel veel met mini's bezig en zal jullie binnenkort een leuke laten zien, maar het maken van Layouts schiet er een beetje bij in. De communiefoto's liggen ook nog te wachten.....
Met deze layout heb ik meegedaan met een wedstrijd bij Pimp-a-pumpkin. Dat was weer sinds lange tijd. De bedoeling was om minimaal 30 knopen op je layout te gebruiken. Misschien op de foto niet helemaal duidelijk te zien, maar ze zaten er toch alle 30 op!!! Ben 3e geworden.....

I'm beginning to get my mojo back concerning the making of Layouts. I've worked on several mini's (I'm going to show you a nice one very soon) but the making of a single LO couldn't grab my attention. Lisa's pictures of her 1st Holy Communion are waiting to be scrapped too......
With this Layout I entered in a challenge over at Pimp-a-Pumpkin again. It's been a while since I've last entered. The challenge was to use a minimum of 30 buttons on your LO. Well, perhaps it doesn't show that very well on the pictures, but they are all there, all 30!!
I came in 3rd.......

Op de foto staat onze jongste dochter Lisa, adembenemend te kijken naar het showspel dat de dolfijnen opvoeren achter het dikke glas van hun bassin. In de mei-vakantie zijn we een dagje naar het Dolfinarium in Harderwijk geweest. Het heeft even wat moeite gekost om deze foto zo te krijgen dat Lisa EN dolfijn er samen opstonden, maar Lisa vond het niet erg ;-)tenminste deze keer niet.

On the picture is Lisa our youngest, looking breathless to the silly playing of the dolfins behind the thick glass of their bassin. At spring-break we went to Harderwijk to see the Dolfinarium. It took me a while to get this picture exactely the way I wanted it too, both child and dolfin in one picture, but Lisa didn't mind :-) At least not this time

Karen's Doodles Challenge week 13

Zo snel ben ik nog nooit geweest ;-) Maar ik had natuurlijk een voordeel, ik wist al wat de challenge zou zijn.
Ik ben nml. gevraagd om voor de komende 2 weken guest designer te zijn van het Nederlandse Challenge Blog van Karen's Doodles. En daar heb ik uiteraard volmondig JA op gezegd!!
Het is weer de 1e van de maand en sketch tijd. Ga maar snel naar het challenge blog om hem te bekijken en mee te doen.
Dit is in ieder geval mijn uitwerking ervan.

This quick I've never been ;-) But I had an advantage, I allready know the challenge as I've been asked to be Guest Designer for the upcoming 2 weeks. Ofcourse I said YES to this.
